IFAS
The Institute for the Future of Aging Services (IFAS) is a policy research center that studies real-world providers and their efforts to improve the lives of older adults and the working environments of those who care for them. One major initiative of IFAS is Better Jobs Better Care, an applied research and demonstration program focusing on long-term care workforce improvement, retention and recruitment. In addition to LTC workforce issues, IFAS works with providers, the living laboratories, to create an evidence base for best practices of care, quality improvement, organizational culture change and senior housing with supportive services. Below are some of IFAS’ resources that highlight innovations and information on what initiatives work to improve the lives of older adults and the organizations that provide care and services to them.
