The AAHSA Savings and Solutions Center (ASSC) is a team of regionally focused AAHSA staff dedicated to helping members save money, find solutions and streamline purchasing. We’re already showing members an average of 21 percent savings!
We assist you by providing one-on-one technical support on procurement, supply chain management and expense reduction techniques. A few of the tools we can supply you with include benchmark data, access to contract experts, samples of job descriptions, best practices from the field, cost analysis and free access to AAHSA’s money-savings programs.

AAHSA’s money-saving programs help our members save on the things they buy the most. Our programs include group purchasing, shared services and insurance.
Through the AAHSA and MedAssets Group Purchasing Program, we’ve shown members an average of 21 percent savings. Enrolled providers have access to over 400 contracts focused specifically on long-term care (LTC) provider needs, including full life-cycle capital equipment and construction contracts. Offering D&O and P&C insurance, the expanded AAHSA Insurance Program, administered by Aon Association Services, benefits the entire continuum (including housing) and offers risk management education along with a 10 percent discount. In addition, participants may be eligible for a dividend payment.
